Description of Organization

The Cancer Society of Greenville County's mission is to improve the quality of life of local cancer patients and their families and to improve the health of the general public. To accomplish this, the agency provides financial, physical, educational, and emotional assistance to local cancer patients, as well as cancer awareness and prevention programs and materials to the general public.

Eligibility for Services

Must live in Greenville County.

Services provided based on Income: prescribed medication, ostomy supplies, oxygen, respite care, transportation assistance (local and out of town travel, room and board, ambulance, mileage, etc.), specialized home health equipment, non-medical financial assistance.

Services provided regardless of income level: Cancer related supplies, Support Services, Equipment for home use. (Please go to the web site and click on Patient Services for a detailed listing)
