Cancer Education Guide

The Cancer Education Guide (CEG) targets ALL people in South Carolina and is designed to educate South Carolinians about cancer prevention, early detection and treatment.
Participants who attend the Cancer Education Guide presentations will be able to increase their knowledge and skills related to:
· Cancer risk factors
· Screening guidelines for early detection
· Steps that can be taken to improve overall health

HISTORY
The Women’s Cancer Coalition (WCC) created the first Cancer Education Guide in 1998. In 2002, the WCC merged with the South Carolina Cancer Alliance (SCCA), which is responsible for modifying and updating this guide.
